A new AWRANA Congress is about to take place, and that means the AWRANA Executive has to be renewed!
As some of the participants on AWRANA Barcelona 2022 will be connected, the Executive must adapt to this hybrid format: the elections for a new Executive will be organized through a securized electronic voting system that will prevent multiple voting.
According to Article 12, it will be necessary to be an active member of the Association to participate in the elections. All those interested in submitting a candidacy and casting their vote are requested to renew their memberships before the start of voting.
Therefore, the elections will take place on the Xoyondo platform (xoyondo.com), with the following schedule:

February 21, 2022 |
Call for applications to available positions of the AWRANA Executive. Applicants must send a letter of no more than one page, to [email protected], expressing the position they are applying for and their objectives for the next term. |

March 15, 2022 |
Call for applications closes. All applications will be posted on awrana.org at the same time to be taken into consideration by the electorate. |

March 30, 2022 |
Voting to candidatures opens. Each active member of the Association may vote for one candidate available for each of the positions. In other words, each voter will be able to cast five votes. |

April 3, 2022 |
Voting to candidatures closes. |

April 7, 2022 |
An election supervisor will be elected by the general Assembly, at the end of the AWRANA Barcelona 2022 Congress, to oversee the results. Together with the outgoing Executive, they will announce and project the results of the elections, and a new Executive will be elected and presented for the next three years. |
